Our Mission
To raise leaders and build lasting impact across Toronto’s youth and emerging leader communities through mentorship, community development, and pathways to opportunity.
The Impact Ambassadors is a Toronto based nonprofit serving youth and emerging leaders aged 16 to 45 across Toronto and the GTA, with a vision to grow into a global reach.
Our work spans six pillars: Leadership Development, Community Development, Newcomer Integration, Youth and Young Adult Empowerment, Women and Family Development, and Pathways to Work. We meet people where they are and walk with them toward where they are going.
The purpose behind our work, and the leaders we are raising to carry it forward.
To raise leaders and build lasting impact across Toronto’s youth and emerging leader communities through mentorship, community development, and pathways to opportunity.
A Greater Toronto Area where every young person and emerging leader has the support, skills, and community to lead with purpose.
TIA is committed to serving Black individuals and communities across Toronto, the GTA, and Canada through practical programs, resources, and partnerships focused on newcomer success, economic empowerment, leadership development, mentorship, and community engagement.
We place particular attention on creating accessible opportunities for Black newcomers, youth, young adults, and emerging leaders to connect with resources, develop their skills, and participate more fully in their communities.

The Impact Ambassadors (TIA) is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to helping people discover their potential, develop leadership capacity, and translate that potential into meaningful impact in their families, communities, workplaces, and society.
TIA serves young people, emerging leaders, adults, families, and individuals who want to grow personally, professionally, spiritually, and relationally.
Our programs are designed to meet people at different stages of their growth and leadership journey.
TIA offers programs and initiatives focused on leadership development, mentorship, purpose and personal development, youth development, relationship and family growth, workshops, and community engagement.
Our programs are designed to help participants move from potential to preparation, and from preparation to meaningful impact.
No. TIA is a nonprofit organization, not a local church.
Our work is grounded in Christian values and biblical principles, which shape how we approach leadership, personal development, relationships, service, and community impact. We engage people through leadership development, mentorship, coaching, education, and community-building initiatives.
At TIA, we believe potential is more than talent or ability. It includes the gifts, experiences, values, ideas, relationships, and capacity within a person that can be developed and directed toward meaningful contribution.
We help people recognize what is already within them, identify areas for growth, and develop the capacity to use what they have been given responsibly and effectively.
We believe discovering your potential is only the beginning.
TIA helps people move from awareness to development, and from development to action. This means helping individuals understand who they are, develop the skills and character they need, and create opportunities to use their abilities to serve others and contribute to their communities.
Our focus is not simply on personal success, but on helping people use their growth to create meaningful impact.
TIA approaches leadership development as a process of whole-person development.
We recognize that effective leadership involves more than skills and professional achievement. Character, identity, emotional maturity, relationships, purpose, service, and personal responsibility also matter.
Our faith-based foundation informs this approach, while our programs provide practical opportunities for participants to learn, reflect, develop, and apply what they are learning in real-life settings.
Being faith-based means that Christian values and biblical principles inform TIA’s mission, values, leadership philosophy, and approach to human development.
These principles shape our emphasis on character, integrity, service, stewardship, compassion, responsibility, purpose, and the value of every person.
Depending on the program, faith may be incorporated through biblical teaching, reflection, prayer, discussion, or other faith-based elements. Specific program descriptions will explain the approach used.
TIA is committed to understanding whether our programs are creating meaningful outcomes for the people and communities we serve.
Depending on the program, we may evaluate outcomes through participant feedback, surveys, attendance and engagement data, goal-setting and reflection, testimonials, follow-up activities, and other appropriate measures.
As TIA continues to grow, we are strengthening our systems for tracking outcomes and learning from participant experiences so that our programs can continue to improve.
TIA brings together personal growth, leadership development, relationships, purpose, faith, and community impact rather than treating these areas as completely separate.
We believe that how a person leads is connected to who that person is becoming.
For this reason, our programs create space not only to acquire knowledge and skills, but also to reflect, build character, develop healthy relationships, and practice leadership in meaningful contexts.

TIA helps individuals identify their strengths, clarify their purpose, develop leadership capacity, build healthy relationships, and strengthen the knowledge and character needed to grow.
We then create opportunities for people to apply what they learn through leadership, service, mentorship, community engagement, and other real-life experiences.
Our goal is not simply to help people become more successful. It is to help people become equipped to use who they are, what they have learned, and what they have been entrusted with to create meaningful impact.
